Message to Youth Club:   "Don't quit wrestling because you think you are not good.  Keep working hard.  When I started wrestling I only won two matches and now as a freshman I won 17.  I also advanced to PIAA AAA District I South Tournament." -- Chris Myers

Bio:   I was born in Baltimore, MD.  After trying wrestling in 2nd grade, I quit for a number of years.  This was a huge mistake that I wish I could undo.  I joined wrestling again in 7th grade  and only won 2 matches.  I returned for my eighth grade year and won 6 matches.  Some wrestlers could have just quit there but I decided I was going to work hard and wrestle for the high school.  I started practicing year round in my eight grade summer.  The hardwork paid off because I finished my 9th grade season with 17 wins and a trip to the District I South Tournament.  I placed 4th overall in Sectionals.  My goals are to be in the 100 win club and to become a state qualifier.
